This part of the recap ties up the loose ends and carries us to the finale of the first feature (Red Tide) in the Double Feature of this season.
If you remember, Alma (Ryan Armstrong) was last seen feeding on a Hollywood hustler in preparation for her audition for some big symphony though it isn’t specified which one. At her audition she kills it. Pun intended. It sounds amazing and based on the expression of the people watching she did phenomenally. Kudos to whoever did the hand acting for the close-ups of the violin being played.
As she is waiting for the results a fellow violinist and Alma’s competition, Rory played by Benjamin Papac, is brought in. It is revealed that the field has been narrowed down to them. As they size each other up Alma let’s it be known that she is the best and no one is better than her. Rory, slightly older and more experienced tells her that when you are a prodigy where you’re from that doesn’t make you a prodigy everywhere and he adds…
