There are good things here but yes... I find myself sinking into this algorithm. The problem is that we are selling to other writers. The business model leaves a lot to be desired... Costco of internet blogging. And Medium's main income comes from writer subscriptions I think so there's only incentive to promote writers who promote subscriptions.
