But, I have to admit that I don’t fully get it. There is an algorithm and you’re saying that your recommendations do come somewhat from that. With that logic then it sounds like there’s a chance writing very often is discouraged by the algorithm somehow.

I do hear the point though, that Medium ultimately does want to lift up quality writing. Which sounds good but Medium also prioritizes high-quality recent writing. I have high-quality boosted articles that no longer get views like there’s a cut off date. So begs the question of if there is a sweet spot to stay relevant.
