Why isn't the evidence that more young people are transgender and non-binary proof that our previous cultural definitions of gender were inadequate? This article is all about why there is more visibility now and yet you still make this argument? "I can't be in the world until I see myself in the world".
Some of the evidence you are citing is old and suicide rates were likely dependent on the cultural climate of the time... "In accordance, the overall mortality rate was only significantly increased for the group operated before 1989. However, the latter might also be explained by improved health care for transsexual persons during 1990s, along with altered societal attitudes towards persons with different gender expressions."
So, it turns out that people not being as accepting was likely one of the contributing factors to higher suicide rates which is only true before 1989 (More than 30 years ago...)... Instead current research of current people finds the opposite.
