Wow, such a spiritual take. <3

Honestly, such a self-righteous answer and similar to gas lighting. I think it's fair for writers to want to know how earnings are calculated precisely without being shamed for it or diverted to reflecting on how they write. Borderline cult-like.

Writers can both reflect on what will make us better writers AND receive a clear cut breakdown of how our earnings were calculated. But Medium refuses to give a simple clear break down to us of how and why a story earned something on a certain day. This lack of transparency means that Medium will eventually lose serious long-term writers with self-respect who eventually find somewhere that they can rely on a more predictable outcome or at least an outcome that is explained with clear numbers. This dooms Medium to always be stuck with a certain caliber of writer, which then makes me ask "I'd love to know why Medium cannot give a clear answer to simple questions". It's legit worse than a hospital bill here if you want to understand your earnings.

Anyways, I came here to write because someone is impersonating Zulie @ Medium. I've reported them. They are referring people to someone at Telegram using this exact same name.

But, I had to reply to this super self-righteous comment.
